Clean Architecture: software that does not decay over time

1Introduction

Projects slow down as business logic becomes entangled with databases, frameworks and UI.

2Discussion

Clean Architecture uses concentric layers — entities, use cases, then infrastructure — with dependencies pointing only inward.

Core logic becomes unit-testable without databases, peripheral tech is swappable, and onboarding is easier; SOLID, especially dependency inversion, enables it.

3Conclusion

It may be overkill for small projects, but for long-lived financial systems it markedly cuts maintenance cost.
