QR payments: an opportunity for small merchants

1Introduction

QR codes let merchants accept payments without a card terminal — the customer scans and pays in a bank or wallet app.

2Discussion

For small shops and service businesses, removing terminal costs is a real advantage, and automatic records simplify accounting.

3Conclusion

Fake stickers over genuine codes are a real risk. Showing the merchant name before confirmation, dynamic codes and customer education reduce it.
